If They Like You, They Will Come.

Let’s face it. People who accept jobs or quit jobs are actually accepting a job with or quitting their boss. If people like you, are fascinated by what you say and have trust in you, they will definitely follow.  A home networking business depends on those who believe in you and want to do what you are doing. 

One of the biggest errors that people make is trying to imitate or act like somebody else and not themselves.  They push too hard with the goal of selling instead of setting the goal to make as many connections as possible.  You can begin to create a solid network merely by being a positive influence among people.  Maybe those people might not join your cause right away, but over time they will.  Your network will grow astronomically if you build a solid base and reputation. 

Foremost in your mind, is making everyone feel relaxed and not have the sense that you are pressuring them.  Speak with confidence, but not arrogance.  Don’t be overly bossy.  Furthermore encourage your audience to interact.  Mean what you are saying when you speak.  When you really believe what you are talking about, other people also will.

The interactive section may have both a Q&A area, but also a discussion board.  Get people excited about what they are talking about, debate and induce conversation.   They can come up with solutions while getting involved and feeling like a part of the business.  This sparks more interest and a greater opportunity of conversion.   Let the audience lead and listen and understand what is being said. 

Be sure to smile and throw in a few jokes to make people laugh.  Laughter makes people more willing to listen and more comfortable and relaxed.  Keep your body language friendly and welcoming.  Show trust in your eyes and a relaxed body manner to convey an authentic message.

Making a public appearance for promotion purposes is a great idea, but only if you can get a positive response from your audience.  Always take full advantage Whenever you have opportunity.  Unlike people visiting your website, you can steer their thoughts and minds in the direction you want by giving them the information they need, packaged in a fun and well put together presentation.  These people will have a desire to work with you, if they like you.  They will have faith in you, and because of that they will trust the business and their potentional of success in it.  They will buy into YOU.
